"How will I ever get out of this labyrinth of suffering?"
-Alaska Young (Looking For Alaska, by John Green)
People hurt. People die and babies are raped by their fathers and loved ones die and leave us behind to walk around in a daze and true loves run off with other people and people hurt people and people suffer needlessly. This Has brought me to the question: why do humans exist? Why hasn't the human race given up and gone extinct because the pain is too great? Is there happiness to achieve here? Are we waiting for relief that never comes? Are we all doomed to be stuck in the Labyrinth of Suffering until we die? Are we waiting for an afterlife that we hope is better than this one? Are we to try and make this life work? Why do people keep going on? Why do we do what we do?
What is the point?
-Me.
